We're accepting nominations for locations of future beach cleanups and monthly meetings. We want to make sure that people get a chance to visit all of our local beaches. We just did Spanish House in Sebastian Inlet today.

Please post and nominate your favorite beaches. They should have a covered area and BBQ area so that we can have a meeting, lunch, and after party when we finish picking up all that trash.

We'll count each post (and unique +1's) as a vote towards that spot. Limit one per person.

Commissioners enact Brevard County fertilizer ban

Thanks to our county government for showing leadership. Our IRL won't heal without strong actions. This is the big first step.

Fertilizing during the wet summer months will now be illegal in unincorporated Brevard County, under the theory that less fertilizer on our grass will grow back more seagrass in the Indian River Lagoon.
